Program Details
🌲 March Break Forest Camp — Join the Adventure! Monday, March 16th – Friday, March 20th Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Before & After Care Available Ages 4–13 Give your child a March Break filled with outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and unforgettable memories! Each day, campers explore the forest through meaningful play, real skill-building, and nature connection experiences guided by trained outdoor educators. 🌟 What Your Child Will Experience Throughout the week, campers will enjoy a mix of: Forest adventures & outdoor exploration Team-building activities Loose parts play & creative construction Nature art & crafts Sledding & winter games Mindful nature connection moments Bushcraft & survival skills And so much more! 🔥 Bushcraft & Survival Skills (Age-Appropriate & Engaging!) Campers will learn a range of hands-on skills, all taught safely and thoughtfully based on age and readiness: Shelter building Fire starting techniques Wild edible identification Signaling & emergency awareness Basic survival preparation Animal tracking And additional skills tailored to their group These activities are taught in a fun, memorable, confidence-building way that children will carry with them long after camp ends. 🌿 Our Learning Environment Campers will spend the majority of their day outdoors, building nature connection and enjoying the magic of Morningside Park. We focus on small group sizes, child-led exploration, and meaningful mentorship. Severe Weather Plan We have access to a 4-season yurt and a fully indoor location when needed. In the event of severe weather, we stay close to our indoor space and explore the connected trails of Colonel Danforth Park. 🎒 What to Bring Please ensure your child arrives with: Weather-appropriate clothing Nut-free lunch + snacks Reusable water bottle Extra clothing layer(s) Indoor shoes (optional) We are outside in all safe weather conditions — dressing warmly ensures a great experience!
Refund Policy
Refunds can be given if they are requested 30 days or more before the session start date by emailing us at nurturethenature.forestschool@gmail.com. If you withdraw before 30 days a refund will be given less a $100 admin fee. We reserve the right to withhold all funds 30 days or less before the program start date as well as during the program. Because space in our programs is limited, you will not be refunded during the session for days your child does not attend. Refunds are not issued for weather-related closures, but we will do our best to accommodate a make-up session. Full refunds will be given if we need to cancel a program due to insufficient registration. Terms & Conditions: Registration is on a first come first served basis and space in our programs is limited so you are encouraged to register early! Nurture the Nature Forest School reserves the right to terminate the contract (with refund for theunused days) if it is deemed not a good fit for the child.
