Summer Camp at Nurture the Nature Forest School Where childhood runs wild, curiosity is sparked, and confidence takes root. Our Summer Camp is a fully outdoor, nature-immersive experience designed for children who thrive when given the freedom to explore, create, and connect with the natural world. Set in the beautiful forests of Morningside Park, each day invites campers into meaningful adventure, hands-on learning, and deep connection to nature, to peers, and to themselves. 🌿 Camp Details Dates: Weekly camps running from July 6 – August 28 Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm Location: Morningside Park Meeting point: 390 Morningside Avenue Before & After Care Before care is available from 8:30–9:00am and after care from 3:00–4:00pm. Extended care is billed in 30-minute blocks at $10 per block. Earlier drop-off (starting at 8:00am) may be available upon request. Ages 4-13: Designed for multi-age groups, allowing for mentorship, leadership, and community-building 🔥 What Our Days Look Like Each day blends gentle structure with plenty of open-ended exploration, allowing children to follow their curiosity while being supported by experienced facilitators. Campers may spend their days: building shelters and learning survival skills safely making and tending fires, and cooking over the fire exploring animal tracking and signs of wildlife splashing, playing, and cooling off through water play learning plant, tree, and animal identification creating nature-based crafts and art playing classic camp games and engaging in imaginative play journaling, storytelling, and reflecting in nature reptile shows & more! Refund Policy
Refunds can be given if they are requested 30 days or more before the session start date by emailing us at nurturethenature.forestschool@gmail.com. If you withdraw before 30 days a refund will be given less a $100 admin fee. We reserve the right to withhold all funds 30 days or less before the program start date as well as during the program. Because space in our programs is limited, you will not be refunded during the session for days your child does not attend. Refunds are not issued for weather-related closures, but we will do our best to accommodate a make-up session. Full refunds will be given if we need to cancel a program due to insufficient registration. Terms & Conditions: Registration is on a first come first served basis and space in our programs is limited so you are encouraged to register early! Nurture the Nature Forest School reserves the right to terminate the contract (with refund for theunused days) if it is deemed not a good fit for the child.
